Thriving on defying convention and embracing the unconventional. Steering away from the notion of polished perfection and instead absorbing the allure of interesting textures and wild designs. Each piece, handcrafted with meticulous precision, offers you something made with love from start to finish. What you leave with, is not just a piece of jewellery, but something with a story behind it, from maker to wearer.

THE CRAFTER

AND THE NAME

Boyaci is the family name of Jamilla’s Turkish Father, translating to “painter”. She found it to be a wild coincidence that both of her Mother’s parents’ were painters and felt this slice of serendipity had to be carried through when she began to build Boyaci.

The art of painting has always mesmerised her. Through this, she drew a deep connection between her grandparents form of creativity and the pieces she creates through wax carving. For Jamilla, making jewellery is a profound expression, a conduit to breathe life into the visions and ideas that bounce around in the recesses of her mind. Each creation is infused with a story, whether it is a painting or a piece of jewellery. the process of handcrafting from scratch infuses these works with heart and soul.

For Jamilla, the fulfilment and sense of accomplishment that arises from turning a mere idea into a tangible and cherished creation is simply indescribable. Each stroke of a brush or careful crafting of a jewel is a testament to the human spirit’s boundless imagination and potential. There will never be a day Jamilla is not filled with extreme gratitude and amazement that she is able to be here and share what she loves ♡
